Burnham youth doubled their seasons points tally and kept their first clear sheet of the campaign with this deserved victory over the Saints. Both side were guilty of squandering a host of goal scoring chances while Burnham was guilty of straying too often into offside positions. Jordan Quinn for Burnham and Pires for the visitors had the best opportunities in the first half, before on 33 minutes Burnham’s best player on the night LUKE CARROLL beat keeper Smith to the ball and then planted the ball into the unguarded net. The second goal came in the 73^rd minute and this time Carroll was the provider. He hit a long ball out of his own half and GEORGE GOULD outstripped the defence to coolly beat Smith. A couple of minutes later The Saints had Pires sent off, after an altercation with Blues Muddyman

Burnham team Bennett, Smith, Woodham, Quinn, Watson,  Muddyman , Amarasinghe, Palmer, Gould, Carroll, O’Brien. Sub used Aitkenhead. Not used Williamson Bauerman, Tommey and Richardson.
