A pitch inspection is due to take place at 11.30am in the morning and as soon as we have news we will post it on here and on twitter to tell you if the match is on or off. If on Chertsey play at Alwyns Lane, Chertsey KT16 9DW. The phone number at the ground is 01932 561774. Kick off is 3pm. The Blues will have three new faces in the squad tomorrow. Gavin James a striker, has transfered in from Marlow, Gavin had a short previous spell on loan at the club when he was at Maidenhead United. Also coming is central midfielder Tyler Christian-Low who has played at Harrow Borough and Ketteing and James Keeble, a winger, from Thame United. 30-01-2012 BLUES PROGRESS IN WYCOMBE CUP Burnham defeated Holmer Green 2-1 in the Wycombe Senior Cup and will now be at home to Amersham Town in the Semi Final. Blues goals were scored by Ryan Bird and Jeff Brown. 29-01-2012 MIDWEEK FOOTBALL AT THE GORE Tomorrow evening we welcome Holmer Green to The Gore as Burnham look to progress in the Wycombe Senior Cup. The Quarter Final tie kicks off at 7.45pm with admission prices reduced to £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and £1 for under 16s. On Wednesday evening the reserves host Wealstone reserves in the Capital League kick off 7.45pm. 29-01-2012 BLUES WELL BEATEN AT RUGBY Burnham suffered a defeat at Rugby Town yesterday losing 4-1 at Butlin Road, the same result Burnham inflicted on the hosts on an equally cold day last season. Rugby had a super start, going in front on 2 minutes through Seb Hamilton. Harry Pritchard equalised on 17 minutes before Rugby got two more before the half hour courtesy of Robbie Banks on 20 minutes and Richard Blythe on 27 minutes. Michael Williams got the fourth on 63 minutes when the Blues defence, not for the first time during the match, went to sleep and allowed the tricky winger the opportunity to score. Toby Ajala from Hayes & Yeading United made his debut in place of the injured Will Hendrie. 28-01-2012 DOWDICAN MOVES TO MARLOW Jordan Dowdican yesterday transfered to neighbours Marlow. Dowdican came through the youth ranks at Burnham, but opportunities to start have been limited of late. We all widh Jordan the bgest of luck with his new club. 27-01-2012 BLUES GO TO 'THE VALLEY' RUGBY Burnham are away tomorrow to Rugby Town kick off 3pm in the Evo Stik. Rugby play at Butlin Road, Rugby CV21 3SD 25-01-2012 RESERVES AND YOUTH BOTH DRAW Burnham reserves drew 1-1 at Aylesbury tonght in the Capital League as did the youth in their Allied Counties Youth League match at Uxbridge. Adam Milligan capped a couple of good days after making his debut for the first team as a substitute last night he scored the youth team's goal tonight. 25-01-2012 BLUES INTEREST IN COUNTY CUP ENDS The Blues were defeated 2-0 in last nights Berks & Bucks Senior Invitation Cup Quarter Final at Hungerford. Goals on 52 and 77 minutes did the damage. 24-01-2012 ALL OUR TEAMS ARE ON THE ROAD IN MIDWEEK We have a full compliment of midweek fixture for our teams this midweek, all playing away from The Gore. Tonight we make a second attempt to play our Berks & Bucks Senior Invitation Cup Quarter Final down at Hungerford Town kick off 7.30pm. Hungerford play at Bulpit Lane, Hungerford RG17 0AY. Tomorrow evening our Reserves travel to Aylesbury (HP19 9WZ) in the Capital League while our Youth go to Uxbridge (UB7 8HX) in the Allied Counties Youth League both kick off at 7.45pm. 21-01-2012 BLUES DOMINANT AGAINST DAVENTRY Burnham had a comfortable win against Daventry Town this afternoon coming out 3-0 winners. A first half strike from Dan Willment was followed up by second half goals from Lewis Driver and Lee Togwell. 19-01-2012 BLUES PLAY HOST TO DAVENTRY The Blues take on Daventry Town this Saturday at The Gore in the Evo Stik League Southern Division One Central. The two teams met on the first day of the season back in August when Daventry won 2-1. Currently we are two places above them although they do have three matches in hand. Kick off is 3pm. 19-01-2012 COUNTY CUP NOW NEXT TUESDAY - WYCOMBE SENIOR CUP MOVED ON A WEEK Blues abandoned Berks & Bucks Senior Invitation Cup tie at Hungerford will now take place next Tuesday 25 January kick off 7.45pm. The Wycombe Senior Cup tie with Holmer Green has moved back a week to Monday 30 January 18-01-2012 BURNHAM YOUTH GO OUT OF LEAGUE CUP Burnham under 18s were beaten in the Allied Counties Youth League Cup Third Round at The Gore bu a very well drilled Knaphill from the South Division 5-2. report now available 15-01-2012 BLUES IN COUNTY CUP ACTION IN MIDWEEK- YOUTH IN LEAGUE CUP ACTION The match at Hungerford has been abandoned after 10 minutes, news on the new date later. Burnham travel to Hungerford Town on Tuesday evening for a Berks & Bicks Senior Invitation Cup Quarter Final. Hungerford play at Bulpitt Lane, Hungerford RG17 0QH. The prise for the winners is a home tie against Wycombe Wanderers. Kick off is at 7.30pm. Kick off at The Gore is 7.45pm. 14-01-2012 BLUES SHARE POINTS AGAIN The Blues drew 1-1 for the third time in eight days at Ashfod Town (Middx) this afternoon. Burrnham did welcome Tom Willment back after his early morning transfer from Uxbridge. Will Hendrie gave the Blues the perfect start on 4 minutes with a well taken free kick on the edge of the penalty area. Kofi Lockhart-Adams got Ashford level on 18 minutes. Unfortunately after that the match went down hill, nothing like the two previous matches against Slough and Uxbridge, and on a bitterley cold afternoon the end could not come quick enough with chances few and far between. 13-01-2012 FIRST TEAM AT ASHFORD TOWN (MIIDX) TOMORROW The Blues go to Ashford Town (Middx) tomorrow in the Evo Stik League Southern Division One Central hoping to avenge the midweek defeat the Reserves suffered in the Capital League. The two sides have met twice already this season, both at The Gore, drawing a league match 1-1 and then Burnham winning 2-1 in the FA Cup. The two sides seem to be evenly matched, just four points seperating them, so an exciting match is hopefully in prospect. The 'Ash Trees' play at Short Lane, Stanwell TW19 7BH and kick off is 3pm. 12-01-2012 ADAM DICKENS RELEASED Martin Stone has today released midfielder Adam Dickens. Adam made 25 starts and 5 substitute appearances since joining the club in the summer. The football club thank him for his service and wish him the best for the future. 11-01-2012 RESERVES DEFEATED AWAY TO ASHFORD TOWN (MIIDX) Blues Reserves lost 2-1 this evening in the Capital League at Ashford Town (Middx). The Burnham scorer was Owen Hunte and included in the side was the returning Dan Hicks who has transfered back from Chalfont St Peter and will surely be pushing for a return to Short Lane on Saturday with the First Team. 10-01-2012 BLUES DRAW AT UXBRIDGE The Blues conceded a last minute goal at 'Honeycroft' tonight in the Evo Stik League drewing 1-1 with hosts Uxbridge. Harry Pritchard gave the Blues the lead a minute into the second half with Mark Dennison equalising on 90 minutes. 08-12-2011 FIRST TEAM AND RESERVES BOTH AWAY IN MIDWEEK Our First Team travel to Uxbridge on Tuesday in the Evo Stik League Southern Division One Central hoping to build on the weekend result. 'The Reds' are having a good season but there is no reason why we should not come away with another positive result. Kick off at the 'Honeycroft', Horton Road. West Drayton UB7 8BX is 7.45pm. On Wednesday the Reserves are back in Capital League action when the team travel to Ashford Town (Middx) for a 7.45pm kick off. The ground is in Short Lane, Stanwell TW19 7BH. 07-01-2012 REBELS HOLD BLUES TO A DRAW Burnham dropped two home points in a 1-1 draw this afternoon to league leaders Slough Town in the Evo Stik League Southern. Burnham took the lead just after the half hour through Lewis Driver with Danny Burnell equalising for the visitors on 47 minutes. Keiran Knight went closest to breaking the deadlock when he struck the bottom of the upright late on. Burnham looked threatening for long periods in front of a crowd of over 400. 05-01-2012 BLUES TO HOST NEIGHBOURS IN LOCAL DERBY Burnham take on Evo Stik League Southern Division One Central leaders Slough Town at The Gore on Saturday. The Blues won the away match 2-1 at Holloways Park back in August courtesy of a couple of Ryan Bird goals. Slough have been in fine form of late and Burnham will need to be at their best as they go looking for victory. Martin Stone will be looking for his team to bounce back after the defeat on Monday at home to Chalfont St Peter. Kick off is 3pm. 02-01-2012 BURNHAM DEFEATED BY CHALFONT IN NEW YEAR OPENER Burnham were defeated 3-1 this afternoon by Chalfont St Peter. The Blues had several early chances to score only for the inevitable to happen when the opportunites are not converted. John Carroll opened the scoring for Chalfont on 25' with Terrel Lewis doubling the advantage on 58'. Lewis Driver gave the Blues hope of a comeback on 80' before Charlie Strutton put the match beyond reach on 88' 01-01-2012 CHALFONT ST PETER TO OPEN THE NEW YEAR FIXTURES AT THE GORE Good morning and welcome to 2012. Kick off at The Gore is 3pm. 31-12-2011 BLUES GOOD RUN CONTINUES Burnham drew 1-1 with Biggleswade Town this afternoon. The hosts scored with the last kick of the first half with substitute Adam Dickens levelling for Burnham on 77 minutes. The point now sees the Blues with only one defeat in the last seven outings, four wins, two draws and and the unfortunate defeat at SYCOB. 29-12-2011 NEXT STOP IS BIGGLESWADE ON NEW YEARS EVE The Blues are on the road again on New Years Eve when we travel to play Biggleswade Town. A coach will be leaving The Gore at 10am picking up at South Mimms services at 10.30am. Kick off is at the earlier time of 1pm to allow everyone the chance to get back for the New Year festivities. 'The Waders' play at the Carlsberg Stadium, Langford Road, Biggleswade SG18 9JT. 26-12-2011 BURNHAM TAKE BOXING DAY HONOURS The Blues won the Boxing Day morning derby at Marlow 2-0.
