BLUES LIFT WYCOMBE SENIOR CUP

Burnham lifted the Wycombe Senior Cup for the 12th time with a 2-1 extra time win over Chalfont Wasps last night at Adams Park (Wycombe Wanderers).  Gavin James opened the scoring for Burnham on the half hour only for Dan Duncan to equalise for Wasps two minutes later.  Burnham had more than their fair number of chances to wrap things up in normal time only to have to wait until the 102nd minute for Ryan Bird to break the deadlock with the winning goal.

BLUES YOUTH LOSE LAST MATCH

Despite racing into a 3-0 lead Burnham managed to lose 4-3 to North Greenford United in the final Allied Counties Youth League match of the season.  Adam Milligan with two and Nozome Satake with one were the Blues goalscorers.

THE WEEK AHEAD - BLUES IN WYCOMBE SENIORCUP FINAL - YOUTH TO PLAY LAST LEAGUE MATCH - PRESENTATION NIGHT

On Tuesday evening the Blues are in action at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers, in the Wycombe Senior Cup Final against Chalfont Wasps kick off 7.30pm.  Burnham progressed to the Final with wins over Penn & Tylers Green 6-2 (Julian Owusu 3, Jordan Dowdican 2 and Owen Hunte) Holmer Green 2-1 (Ryan Bird and Jeff Brown) and Amersham Town 5-1 (Keiran Knight 2, Jon Munday 2, and Harry Pearse) Wasps arrive after wins over Holyport 4-2, Chesham United 2-1 and Flackwell Heath 1-0.  Admission to the ground is £8 for Adults and £5 for Concessions.

Tomorrow evinning the Youth have their last Allied Counties Youth League outing when they play North Greenford United.  The mich postponed away match has been switched to The Gore and kick off is 7.45pm.

On Friday evening the club hold their Presentation Evening at The Gore starting at 7.30pm.  All friends and fans are invited to join the Committee, Management and Players of all the sides as we get together for the annual end of season get together.

The Youth sides final Allied Counties Youth League fixture which was due to have been played away at North Greenford United, has been switched to The Gore for Monday May 14th with a 7.45 kick off

WARM UP FOR WYCOMBE SENIOR CUP

Burnham will entertain Hellenic League side Chinnor at The Gore next Thursday at The Gore as a warm up for The Wycombe Senior Cup Final the following week.  Kick off is 7.45pm.
